The public, and the families, still do not know WHY.  (I live within 10 miles of this school. One co-worker's daughter was seated 5 feet away from the children who were murdered.)

Wow - has that been a year already. Sad to say, there've been so many more tragedies of this type since that one.
This young man came from a very dysfunctional, violent family. The precise "why" may not be known, but he was troubled. Mixing that with easy access to guns was the deadly combination. http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?1...sg-1324672

Followup- the one boy who was shot and recovered was just 'grazed'.. he's fine now. A nice young man. One victim was left paralyzed... the community rallied and made sure his medical costs were covered, his house converted for handicapped linving, powered wheelchair, etc.
There were a lot of commemerative activities yesterday.
