I've only noticed a price like this one other time, and that was for the same drive at the link Catz posted.

There was once (that I know of) a sale on a 512G M4 for < $300 that I missed out on, and haven't seen another for that drive since.

Agreed. If I could get a 480GB Sandisk Extreme for $270 I'd probably bite.
