Apple's profits remain on the throne
#1
The FUD, BS, and astroturf campaigns continue. Fortunately, a few lone voices still dare to speak out…

I can't wait to see the word "beleaguered"... I kinda miss the good ol' days when I felt like an oppressed minority.

From Business Insider:

Mobile phones accounted for 74% of Samsung's operating profit last quarter. In the same quarter, the iPhone represented 52% of Apple's revenue and 65% of its gross profit.

This is a much bigger issue for Samsung, considering that they sell TV's and all kinds of household appliances, as well as electronic components.

Samsung spent a fortune driving those smartphone sales. It topped Ad Age's list of the fastest growing U.S. ad spenders last month, and its worldwide ad budget last year was $4.3 billion -- four times Apple's.

I know a few who went from iPhone to Samsung's Galaxy smartphones...they are all waiting for the next version of the iPhone to move back.

A Throne is a strange place to store profits.

Isn't a bank better?

Do they look pretty on a Royal Chair?

Can't Apple invest the profits?

Unclear why they'd remain on a throne, or be left on any chair, really.

Also, no chair is big enough. Did Apple build a special gigantic throne in some undisclosed location?

I wish we could at least see photographs.
