I was about to be excited thinking I paid $180 for mine a month ago.
Then I realized that $180 is the price on the 1TB and I only got a 500GB.
Not quite a run you fools given the cost of Thunderbolts; it's a total PITA to take the case apart but they DO provide a thunderbolt cable in addition to the drive itself. (I bought the 500GB to pop out the OEM drive and put in an OWC Mercury SSD!)

I picked up two of those last Summer from OWC and put them to use immediately for some production stuff - fast and fast is an understatement. Good stuff.

Id love to dump all my 3.5" drives for 2.5" ones in a single case like this -- with some 7200 RPM Hitachis -- would cut down on my clutter...: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Promise%2...gy/PRJ4US/

Drobo Mini for me - more expensive, but better protection and performance (mSATA for Data-Aware Tiering), as well as versatility with USB 3.0: http://www.drobo.com/products/profession.../index.php

Thats nice as well, and USB 3 is a bonus.

Assuming tho that if anyone were to be dropping the big coins on these they are prob getting it for the TBolt connection....
