Sheesh! What cajones!

Did a little digging - here's some coverage of one of the events there, to give a sense of scale:

Damn..not without a rope attached to a different planet.

That other vid where the dudes were riding that trail along that Canyon (did i see that here?) was much scarier for me..it got me EXTREMELY uncomfortable as I was a watching it...was wondering if the guys in the other video had technical parachutes on their backs. I was lurching in and gripping in my chair watching that canyon deal...felt a bit queasy too.

While not diminishing the inherent danger, the narrow, almost tunnel-like field of view in this and similar "gopro" cam style videos makes them more nausea-producing than the rider's full field of view and control of where to be looking at any instant would be.

I agree. Not take away from what these guys are doing, but its not as narrow as it looks via GoPro.

back int eh day I raced some pretty narrow singletrack -- you might be surprised how little space was actually needed.

If you look at the vid on the Rampage site, you get a more realistic perspective that still makes me cringe. Not so nauseating, just makes my palms sweat.
