Safari is ticking me off.

After reading a few threads, I often hit Cmd-R to reload the page.

This clears out the New tags. Or so I thought.

Lately it doesn't seem to do that. It appears to reload the page as is, as though it's reloading the cached page and not fetching a new one from the site.

To clear the tags, I have to hit the bookmark in the Favorites bar.

Is Cmd-R the same as hitting the bookmark?

Or maybe I'm just missing something in my methodology and it's not Safari.

I think I'll go shopping.

It seems to me that option-clicking the reload widget in the address bar causes Safari to ignore the cache when reloading the page.

This is what I was thinking as well. I usually add in the option key when doing a Cmd+R for refresh.
