Not even sure how to search for it.
My daughter is in my contact list, let's call her SK. I have her iPhone number and her email address in my contact list. I use bluetooth in my car to control Siri to make calls and texts.
Here's the problem. Siri sometimes has a problem understanding her name when I ask to call or text SK. So, I told Siri that SK is my daughter. All good so far. Now when I want to call or text her, if I ask Siri to call SK, the call goes through (usually). However, when I ask Siri to call "my daughter", Siri tells me "I have no phone or email address for SK." Let me stress, in that response Siri uses her name when it says there is no phone number or email address. What?
I decided to try to relink SK and "my daughter". Siri tells me, "I already know that, (my name)."
So, Siri will call or text SK but says it doesn't have the info when I want to call or text my daughter even though Siri already knows that SK is my daughter. Any idea what's going on here? Pretty convoluted. To paraphrase a current commercial, "That's not a smart phone."
