Deleting notifications?
#1
I have a problem I can't resolve on my Mac Mini. I have started getting banner notifications from a website called 9to5Toys. I don't know how or why I started getting these banners, but I want to get rid of it and I can't figure out how to delete it.

I am running Mavericks 10.9.4. When the banners first appeared I went to the Notifications tab in System Preferences and saw an icon for 9to5Toys located in "In Notification Preferences." I see no way to delete the item, the only option seems to be to move it to "Not in Notification Center." And even after moving it to the "Not in Notification Center" the banners continue to appear.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

Thanks
Carl

Use Easy Find (free) to search for "9to5" in you User account. It is probably in your User Library, but EasyFind will find it. Delete that sucker!

In order to unsubscribe from notifications, you can simply use Safari’s preferences (Safari > Preferences > Notifications). wrote:

And next time, don't click Allow.

Thanks deckeda! I don't recall "Allowing," but will have to pay better attention in the future.
