To me, the RAM is pretty much irrelevant because you can change it at will. I'd rather get an 8G/4.0/295.


The DPI/PPI is about 217. My LED Cinema Display is 108.

More than enough to notice, unless you have bad eyesight. The difference in the two iMac displays is stunning.

I remember checking out the the 30" ACD and thinking the pixels were huge. I get the same thing when I look at my MacBook display.

If I remember correctly, the 27" LED Cinema Display came out after an iMac first had that panel. Maybe a new display and the horsepower to drive it aren't that far off.

i wish they had a 4gb video card.

for my work, 2gb isn't enough.
