Gmail SMTP server question
#1
I have a couple 2-3 different gmail accounts (for various reasons) and for some odd reason the SMTP outgoing mail server for a couple of them are offline so I switched it to the one that is online - so here's the question: If I have account #1 (jerry1@gmail.com) and account #2 (jerry2@gmail.com) using account #3 (jerry3@gmail.com's) outgoing SMTP server, will it show in the headers of either account 1 or 2 that it was sent by jerry3@gmail.com SMTP's server?

Ex: Disposition-Notification-To: jerry3@gmail.com

Basically I want to keep them separate from each other. Not sure if I'm making sense tho........?

Open a new blank email, and check out the little outgoing server box to the right of "From".

I understand that part - what I should have said is that when I get the dialog that SMTP: Account 1 is offline and I choose another gmail outgoing server - that is then sending from Account 2's SMTP server AND email address.

The email address that a recipient will see is the one in the "From" pull down. Remove the dead outgoing servers using the "Edit SMTP server List" option.
