The mobile market is saturated. Any new entrants are doomed from the start. And if you need proof, just look at Windows Phone or BlackBerry

The Western mobile market, maybe. Windows Phone, Tizen (Samsung), and Firefox OS are focusing on emerging markets for a reason. I'm surprised Ubuntu is going the Europe route.
