TWC / ATT Best 15mpbs+ Plan for Web Only?
#1
What's the secret for getting the "new customer price" for current customers? TWC is doing $29.99 for 15mbps but tried to charge me $49.99 for that. I've been a customer for 15 years. (I know, right?!)

I just called them and asked for the 29.99 deal and they said "it's only for new customers." But they put me on a 39.99 plan. Ugh. I want the 29.99 plan. Basically, I need 15mbps service for the cheapest price possible. I don't need cable or phone.

Thanks for any ideas/deals.

Tweet to @TWC_Help and complain how expensive internet is and that you're going to cancel or switch providers. Someone will DM (direct message) you asking for your account info and a phone number to reach you at. This person will actually be able to help you out.

Last year I got faster internet while also paying less than I was previously by doing this (after two rounds trying to explain to regular reps how it would be cheaper if I bought services a la carte instead of the double-play package I was in to no avail).

My discount just expired, so I may have to go through this again soon.

You don't need a bunch of followers for this to work. I have 0 or 1, probably (I only use Twitter to enter contests and apparently complain to TW).
