Your favorite pedometer iOS app?
#1
I'd like to keep track of the walking I do, both in steps and location.

So besides a pedometer function, I'd like something that shows my path and gives me total miles via GPS. I figure that would be more accurate than just a step-counter alone. (I know that some counters work more accurately if initially used with GPS.)

Barring that ability, I'll still want a step-counter. I don't need something that posts to social media. I'm not in competition. I don't know if there are other features I should consider, so free to a fin would be worth considering.

May My Run works for me pretty well. I turned off all the social media carp.

I have this sign on my car:

Before Fitbit I used Breeze (pedometer). Fitbit(pedometer, can share, compete with other users) and Routie (route,GPS,miles, altitude, speed) easy to use.

I have been testing out the mi band ($16-20) Bluetooth pedometer with iOS / android app. Will write up a review soon.

LOL.

Map My Stroll would be my ideal app! I'll give MMR a look.

And I've downloaded all the mentioned apps, so far.

I like the look of the FitBit but I won't be buying a fitness wearable.

I like Moves but it is a big drain on your battery.

I installed Pacer purely as a lark.

As someone who genuinely thought I'd launch it once or twice and never look at it again, I have to admit I'm taken with it, have started filling in some of the ancillary health information it also tracks, and find that ppne and given me a (needed) lick in the pants regarding taking health and fitness just s little more seriously.

I may have just had an 'ah ha!' moment about all those wearable tech fitness devices. Is that an Apple Watch I hear calling my name?
