Contacts on OS X and iOS are a joke

Contacts on OS X and on my iOS devices never sync or if they do they're not accurate. One keeps old phone numbers one updates not to mention pulling Facebook pics for contact pics. Argh!

Why would anyone ever let Facebook get its filth-ridden hands on his phone? Delete your Facebook credentials, uninstall the app, make sure that it doesn't taint your Contacts groups anymore and get yourself clean and sober.

Everything's better without Facebook.

Well I do Facebook. I don't like how it pulls from Facebook to populate contacts. I just figured out how to revoke access but it may be too late.........SEND HELP!

Make sure you are using the same iCloud account as the default (holds true for Calendar also)
Make sure they are not in the "On my Mac (phone)" group.

I still miss the Palm OS Contacts, Calendar and Notes Apps.
