'Might not have thought of it at the time, but you always have options. A high shelf. An alternate wall-jack. A Co-ax run. Powerline Ethernet...

I read an article a while back that recommended this. Just let the device choose the network. This is what I have been doing for a year or so. Seems to be working for me.
