My son's best friend makes $200/month on YouTube. I've never bothered to ask my son what his buddie posts however I thought $200 was a lot but it is nothing compared to this guy.

Note that well over 57% of what he earned went to taxes. But still... Quite an earning potential for a young man to play video games and record himself doing it.

Also note that he gives a lot of his money away (his own claim) because he doesn't believe that money can make you happy.

I was floored a few years ago when I heard what certain (nightclub) DJ's make in a year. Hint: way more than $7m.
Having been a DJ in my yout', I never could have imagined making that kind of loot.

A good portion of it was from producing records, granted, but the fees they get for gigs are still pretty high. More than a lot of well-known bands.
