Performa 575 used for data analysis. Bought a $50 program back in 1989 and have been using it since. It's not 32 bit clean, so I'm as high as I can go. I've got 2 in reserve for when the primary machine breaks. It would cost more than $1000 to buy software that would do the same thing for a current machine. I'm staying with the old one until I retire (3-5 years)!

jp!- what is your IIci doing on a regular basis in its old age?

Michael- what OS are you running? and what is the highest OS your data analysis software will run under?

9600 FrankenMac G3 400 (overclocked to 450mhz), loaded with RAM and 4 hard drives (2 UW SCSI)and a Formac Proformance video card. Running OS 8.6. Given to me by a friend. Its my primary computer for light photo work, email, internet and word processing. I have a 450 Smurf waiting in the wings (and OS X)...but I just can't give up on my FrankenMac yet. Dave
