King Features Syndicate celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, and is highlighting the occassion with a special Sunday supplement in newspapers nationwide on November 15. In an interview with The New York Times, comics editor Brendan Burford said that the intent is to highlight the "amazing impact on a century of pop culture" King and its associated comic strips have had. . .

The New York Times, of course, has never carried any comics.
