How to check if my 5s is really unlocked?

A window in iTunes says something like, "Congratulation's, your iPhone has been unlocked."

But any other messages will knock it off the screen, so it may not persist long enough for you to see the message.

Success! i got my new 6s Sim from AT&T. put the old 5s sim back in and hooked it up to iTunes. Congratulations, my phone is unlocked pops up on my iTunes computer screen.
