Amazon sells Generic Ink (yes, Amazon, not 3rd party sellers)

Prices start from $6.40 and Amazon sells the same pack for $11.72. Now here is the question: these are "by Generic". I assume they could come from different vendors, as long as they have the same shape and number of cartridges is the same.

The $6 vendors have ratings, worst is 89%, best is 96%. Amazon does not list any rating.

I am tempted to go with "Acolor".

if you click on PRIME button, there is only 4 sellers left, Amazon is the last one (most expensive).

After replacing four printers when they stopped printing using generic cartridges, I gave in and started buying brand name ink. I buy a set of cartridges two or three times a year so it is not a huge cash drain and they are quite a bit cheaper than a new printer. (Well, OK, three sets of cartridges is just about the cost of a printer, but I hate throwing them away.)

Not sure what kind of printers you are using/buying -- but I think s-t and I have nearly the same printer -- a Brother J835.

Ive run dozens of generic carts thru it, never an in issue. =)

And at 75ยข per cart, we just print away. I think the paper might cost more than the ink...
