In iOS 10, Apple is going to replace its iconic “slide to unlock” gesture with something that sounds really dumb, “press to unlock.” In the first iOS 10 beta, even after the Touch ID login was complete you still had to press the button to unlock the phone, as seen in the animation above. Thankfully, Apple “fixed” the issue in its latest release......

Unless you don't have touch id, then it's 'press home to unlock'. I think I like slide better.

If you have Navigon, it will probably work on the 5 series iPhones, but it crashes on the 6 series. Navigon says they will fix it not before iOS10 is finalized.

It works on my iP 5 but crashes on my iP 6+. Others are reporting similar results.

I think I consider the final release as a beta. I look forward to many, many people downloading, installing and using the final release for months before I install it. I still haven't installed the latest iOS 9 on my iPad 3. Why screw up a perfectly working device?

What is Navigon? The app store lists it as GPS software.

I have a 4s besides my 5s, and I'm tempted to try the beta.

But I think it might be a little too much for that 'Phone, but I'm not about to try a beta on my primary 'Phone.
