No Mac minis yet ... perhaps never???

I'm a little disappointed that the year's going by without any indication that new minis are on the horizon. Do you folks think they are indeed being phased out?

Then again, I just noticed the post 3 down where Tim Cook says "Stay Tuned", so maybe so.

If Apple ever releases a version of the OS that supports Thundercrap 3, just get one of the Intel Skull Canyon NUC's. The quad core i7 'bare bones' version recently bounced off $550 (plus the cost of a SSD and some RAM).

People have been saying the Mac Mini is on the way out for 10 years now (since the Intel transition). History argues otherwise.

There will be more Mac Minis.

That's significantly cheaper than my refurb 2.6 Quad Mini from 2 years ago ($679).
