I watched it, and well, it was kind of disappointing.

First off, I suspected a major character was going to get whacked, and was waiting for the reveal that never happened. Now we have to wait 8 months before we see how it played out. Seemed a bit of a desperate attempt to keep the fans talking about it all summer. Just another "who shot JR?" Nothing groundbreaking there.

The side story of Carol leaving also kind of bugged me. She has already done this once, and I'm wondering if she and Morgan are going to save the day once more. Who else? Father Gabriel and the folks left in Alexandria? miley-laughing001:

Negan's gang also perturbed me a bit. The fact that they could walk right up to Daryl, put a gun to his head without their prize tracker noticing them? Come ON!! That, and the damn whistling thing they do. That gang just doesn't seem clever enough to sneak up on the group time and time again. (td)

I fear I may be coming to an end with this show. I said in the beginning I would watch until it started getting stupid. I don't think it's far off from that point.

Agreed. I was sorry I clicked on this thread (just watched it last night.)
And I was sorry I watched it last night--- it's really an awful show in a lot of ways. I think credit goes completely to the actors if any of us still care what happens to the characters, because the writing is horrendous.
