iP8 10th anniversary phone may ditch the TouchID
#1
For other biometrics that use the fancy new cameras.

I have found the second generation TouchID to be remarkably good. I wear 2 different glasses each day, plus sunglasses on some days, so facial recognition might be difficult for my use case.

We will see! Here's a comment that's skepticism about their own report on 9to5mac:

Given how easily other biometrics have been fooled, I seriously doubt that Apple has any intention of ditching the fingerprint-scanner.

What they *might* do is incorporate facial recognition with the fingerprint scan as an optional two-step authentication measure for some apps.

I do not want to make my poor phone constantly stare at my face.
