DST is just stupid.

I love the extra daylight in the evenings. Wish we would just stay on it.

As I've said many times before, pick one or the other and stick with it! It really affects my sleep rhythm every time we change the time.

I hate it, hate it, HATE IT!! :mad2:

but I understand the change due to school children walking in the morning darkness.

We're the far west of the Eastern Time Zone and it's dark when the kids are going to school at 7:30 AM. I know there has been talk to start the school day later because kids are useless that early. But that's a different discussion.

So the game I have is when I find the last clock to change. I walked the house this afternoon and got them all ... well, except the timer on the lamp in the window which I remembered early this evening. I'll get the cars tomorrow.

I one of my previous houses the last clock tended to be water softener which could be DAYS after the change over.

I would like to see Daylight Savings Time gone. Trying to remember all the clocks that need to be changed is a chore, invariably some get missed. Last week my daughter was walking in complete darkness on a fairly busy rural road with no sidewalks to get to her bus stop, now she has some light at least, and cars are more apt to see her and other neighborhood kids. As I write this, it's a little after 7:30 and there is a nice, light pre-sunrise dawn.
