was back and forth on whether this guy even deserved air time..in the end i said yes to myself..interesting to peel into an example of the people Trump surrounds himself with..

Though,,it was very uncomfortable to watch this guy..who was clearly pushing the limits on some kind of life or brain crisis..def reminded me of a little bitty boy.

Alexandra Petri’s take of the whole Nunberg affair (at the WaPo) is as humorous as you might expect:

It starts to look like President’s Trump’s idea of assembling a great team of “the best people” was, specifically, “the best people at going on cable news in moments of crisis, sticking their feet in their mouths, choking on those feet, suggesting that the feet definitely did something with the Russians during the campaign, and making everyone even more alarmed than they were previously.”

...There’s a weird ritual where at some point between being employed by the Trump campaign and bursting into flame as you enter the atmosphere, you feel compelled to call up members of the media and say as many outrageous things as possible, and Monday was Sam Nunberg’s day to do that.

...The sad thing about this administration is that if someone said to you, “Hey, remember when that former Trump staffer went on that long, weird rant to a member of the media, and at first everyone was amused, and then they became increasingly concerned that something was Not Right with him?,” you would have to ask them to clarify which one.

“I am talking about the guy who did not have a lot of anatomical suggestions for Steve Bannon,” you would clarify. “Not Carter Page, though, the other one.” And even then you might get it wrong.

So yeah he’s since decided he’ll testify. Sobriety has a way of helping one see clearly. Quell surprise.

““She’s very, very smart,” Nunberg said, referring to Wiley, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s former chief counsel. “She made a compelling case to me, and the case was that they have to do this for their investigation, and it was a fair point.”” — WaPo

What a stunning moron this guy is.

That was great! People are gonna start to wonder about all of these 'losers' that have been thrown out of the white house... what happened to 'all the best people'?

Turns out after all that drama, he showed up anyway. Spent 6 hours with Mueller and team, it’s said.
