I 'bought' a video from Amazon a few days ago without realizing that I can't stream it to my Mac and that Amazon may stop allowing it to be streamed at all or downloaded to my iDevices if their license on it runs out.
So I want to see if they'll refund my $2.99 since I haven't viewed it in any form.
It doesn't show up under My Orders and Digital Orders doesn't use the preset for Return to get a phone call.
A quick search shows different numbers from non-amazon sources, and nothing helpful from Amazon sources. And I'm not sure the latter are actually with Amazon. LOL
Does anybody have that number?

Does one match this? Customer service: 1 (206) 266-2992
I did a reverse search but this number didn't come up except for an Italian IT datacenter number.

This is the number that I've had in my files for years, and use whenever I want to talk to a human at Amazon

Why can't you stream it?
Minimum requirements are pretty light.
Core 2 Duo and 10.7.
Silverlight or a web browser that supports HTML5.
Is your Mac OS too old?

Why can't you stream it?
I could stream it, but I really want to download it, as I do with podcasts I want to keep.
My throughput is poor, so Amazon frequently drops the resolution, which is really annoying. So I have to shut down just about every open program to insure a glitch free performance. It's far more preferable to own it. That and as I've found out, when Amazon's license expires on content, it can no longer be streamed. Then I'm stuck with having it only on my iPads.
At least if I buy it from iTunes I 'own' it and can watch it on a bigger screen (no ATV, yet).

Ok, I used 1-866-216-1072 and it worked!
Thank you GGD, and everybody else who replied.
AMZ refunded my purchase, and I'm happy.
The guy on the phone (outsourced is my guess) didn't announce that I was talking to AMZ so after giving him minimal information I asked him to tell me my last purchase and it was correct, so I'm happy.
It bugs me that AMZ makes it so tough to call them. Very easy in some situations, but if it's out of the ordinary, you have to depend on the kindness of strangers.
Thanks, all!
