I got one for Christmas (Papago - wife told me it was well reviewed). Found a simple video on youtube how to push the power cable under trim edges (without having to remove the trim) to hide it. That cord eventually plugs into a cig lighter on the lower dash. It’s just one cam tho, which for me is forward-pointing.
What surprised me is that it sees approaching stop signs and beeps and pops up a “stop” on the screen. I did not know it could do that. Doesn’t work with stop lights. There’s a second beep-beep noise it makes sometimes when the light has turned green, but that’s not reliable enough.
Why did I get it? Like I tell everyone, if I see a yeti while I’m out driving, I want proof.

You need to specify whether you want the rear camera to record the outside or the inside (passenger cabin). If the former then you will have to deal with some wiring. If the latter then there are plenty of options that are free from wiring hassles (other than power to the camera).
