Anyone using a MIDI controller with their iPad????

I'd like to grab a wireless midi controller for my iPad and wondering if anyone has any recommendations / advice??? Do they work Ok??? I have a 25 Key USB MIDI controller (By Evolution)... It's older but it works find on my iMac... But for my iPad I'd rather have something small and preferably wireless... This would allow me to be lazy and sit in the family room and jam...

The Akai wireless look nice (Mini keys)... but, wish they had one with drum pads and knobs... So, I'd have to get "two" controllers...

Other option I'm thinking about is getting the Camera Connection Kit and a USB controller... Just need to make sure whatever I get it doesn't require additional power...

For mobile, I use an iPad Pro 12.9" and the camera connection kit attached to an Akai Professional LPK25.
Works well with basic sequencing and MIDI playback.

In my studio, I've used an Pad Pro 12.9" and the camera connection kit attached to a with a Kawai VPC1.
It also works well but has some annoying latency issues with larger sample based instruments like Ravenscroft 275.
