Yeah. Here's two (internal) polls:

The results of an internal campaign poll conducted for one rival Senate campaign on Saturday and Sunday were: Blankenship 31 percent, Jenkins 28 percent, Morrissey 27 percent.

The results of another internal poll conducted Friday and Saturday were: Blankenship 28 percent, Morrissey 27 percent, Jenkins 14 percent.

Obviously, these kind of polls come with a big grain of salt. But it looks like the ex-con racist may be resonating with his deplorable base despite what Donnie said today. (In fact, it may be why they got the latter involved).

He may pull it off.

I don’t have one of those, but the general feeling is that after savaging his primary opponents in the GOP, if Blankenship wins, Manchin is a shoo-in.

Of course, we thought that about another race in 2016.

He's done a little more than "savaging his primary opponents."

He called Elaine Chao and her relatives Mitch McConnell's "China family," amongst other claims.

This guy is a convicted killer (convicted of avoiding/subverting safety regulations that led, among other things, to the deaths of 93% of the miners at Upper Big Branch, where 29 workers died in an underground explosion in 2010). He might win, and there aren't enough Black women in West Virginia to save us this time.

If it's really close and he wins by 29 votes, some people might start advocating letting dead people vote.
