7.5 earthquake/tsonomi

It seems to my layman’s mind there are many really bad earthquakes and tsonomis in that part of the world. I know The RingOf Fire. Seems worse stuff happens in the Indonesia area.

Jakarta, Indonesia (CNN) — Rescue workers are hunting for survivors after a powerful earthquake hit the Indonesian island of Sulawesi and triggered a tsunami, killing at least 384 people.

After the 7.5-magnitude earthquake hit Friday, water smashed into buildings and swept away homes in the coastal city of Palu, home to 350,000 people.

.....they seem to be getting worse.....that or we hear about it more nowadays.....???


....but it seems even rain these days ends up being flooding........

According to U S geological survey the number and frequency and magnitude of earthquakes has remained constant for as long as they have been keeping records.
They are likely excluding man made events.

IOf course, this toll is gonna get huge IMO...that was a serious wave and i saw quite a few people on the ground when the wave hit..the Earthquake itself did a lot of damage. Power to those folks.
