Best savings rate?
#21
I've had a simple account every since you had to get an invite: https://www.simple.com/

They just announced a 2.02% interest rate for their new "savings" category.

Look at US Treasury Bills, not FDIC insured, but backed by the US Treasury.

Only pay Fed tax on them, no state income tax.

Different rates for different durations, all above 2%

You can also buy them through brokerages like Fidelity and Schwab.

I think a Vanguard Money Market accounts yield about 2%, and you can move money into and out of various securities.

I do not want CD. I cannot commit to keep the money for 12 months.

Invest in AAPL through Robinhood. You can't miss doing better that way than at a bank.
AAPL is up 4% since your post. Obviously it could have gone down 4% but that is why there is stop-loss.
