REPUBLICANS HAVE RIGGED THE 2018 GEORGIA ELECTION. TEN PERCENT OF VOTERS WERE PURGED FROM THE ROLLS IN 2017.
Georgia Secretary of State and Republican nominee for Governor of Georgia Brian Kemp is responsible, targeting primarily democrats and people of color with no formal process and no political accountability. Under the threat of a federal lawsuit, he produced a list of purged voters (on the eve of the deadline), but not the documentation showing any legal reason for the purge.
He has stated that the purge was primarily of people who moved out of state. In fact, when reporters spot checked some of the purged names they found not one that had moved out of state. One had moved to an apartment building across the street -- and had updated her registration information and been purged anyway. Another had moved to an apartment next door to the one she had been in when she registered and had her name purged when she updated the address for her drivers license. Many were purged for failing to respond to postcards with misleading information on them. Still others were purged for failure to respond to postcards that were never actually sent.
If you live in Georgia and would like to try to un-rig the election insofar as your own vote is concerned, you have only until TODAY (Tuesday) to re-register.

Note that this list is probably not comprehensive. Kemp has withheld so much information that there's no way to tell how complete it is. If you have any doubt, fill out an updated registration card at the DMV. AND REMEMBER THAT GEORGIA'S VOTER ID LAWS REQUIRE A VALID/CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE (or an expensive DMV ID) FOR REGISTRATION.
