Don't you love it when Chinese complain about Intellectual Theft?

Look at this booting screen. Yes, it’s a Chinese company complaining that someone else runs their firmware.

There is a photo at work of a very satisfied Chinese Colonel with a flamethrower. He had just burned up a warehouse full of counterfeit machinery that was faked from our company’s products. Because we had a partnership and a factory in Shanghai.

It’s all about how you incentivize your potential competition....

Most Chinese intellectual theft victims are other Chinese.
OTOH, it is nothing new, it always has been around, even here, Chinese were just that much better at it.
In the old days it would take about two years for our American competitors to ripoff our designs. We knew we had that window to make back the development money and make the market. When the Chinese came in they took it down to 6 months, including shipping. Today it is 3 months. We do not even pursue it in China, it is not our market, we wait for some idiot to bring it here, then slam him.

Chinese will pursue the intellectual property infractions, like cbelt's case, but differently than we do
Surprise, it is a different culture, a different system, it works differently, so if you have a market in China, you have to defend it, you have to have somebody there. You cannot be lazy....
