Well, sloppy casting is a Dynasty tradition. When Al Corley left, "Steven" was recast with an actor with completely different colored eyes (Brown versus blue- Your eye color doesn't change just because you've been in a fire) and when Pamela Sue Martin left the role of "Fallon" they recast her with an actress who looked at least 30 years her senior. That's when I lost interest the first time.
