How to annoy a Pope
#11
I don't blame him. You pull an old person who's heading in one direction back and it can be painful and harmful.

He apparently apologized in his sermon following. I wouldn't have; I guess that's one reason I'm not the Pope!

Just finished watching The Two Popes. Good movie, worth the time.

Synopsis: Two aging priests forgive each other for being complacent about making accommodations with right wing Nazi like atrocities in their earlier lives.

My husband and I watched and enjoyed it, too.

The Pope was absolutely in his right to do what he did.

There was an attempt on a Pope’s life some years ago. That’s got to be on his mind.

He apologized and said he lost his patience. He is known to withhold his ring from faithful who want to kiss it, because it's an infection risk to other ring-smoochers.

Now if he can get back to the tiresome process of addressing other more pressing issues, that would be great.
