Irrelevant. Men need more options than they have now, and options that allow them to exercise control over their choice of whether or not to reproduce. Nothing prevents a woman from using birth control in addition to whatever a man chooses to use. Edit: I'm a bit biased by the fact that I had a buddy in college whose girlfriend lied to him about taking the pill in order to get pregnant.

If this operates by lowering sperm count to negligible levels why can't they just test the men's sperm without risking impregnating women in the process?
