final cut pro users-i've got an install question

i have a non-intel/g5/imac/17"/2.0/1.5mb ram/250hd/10.4.7

i have the final cut pro studio suite.

i would like to install fcp on the imac.

any thoughts or tips u care to share about the install?

put the disc in and press 'install'?

Make sure you don't have FileVault enabled.

FCP will install where some other suite-mates (particularly Motion) may flunk the hardware (but the installer should know whether the machine has all the necessary tech).

I was surprised today to see that the stock video on my dual 2.5 G5 tower is merely "supported" rather than "recommended." Not sure how I got demoted without a revision to the suite having been released.

My only problem has been telling 0 from O in the serial number.
