Shameless plug for my photography friend

One of my friends is a seasoned pro down in South Florida. He’s very conservative about social media however and has only just now created an Instagram account for his business.

He used to do weddings and more but has since settled on architecture, interiors, products, with some events too. Drones are more recent, which is why we no longer work together during the summer (he no longer needs an assistant for the 50ft towable manlift we used to use!)

cool. funny observation of mine is how the picture formats are now highly aligned with a square, because of things like instagram (maybe FB on a phone, also).

That’s one reason why I like IG. I like square format images. Not always, but enough that I don’t think they’re weird or “wrong” at all.

It can also do 4x5 aspect ratio, and some have purposely masked top and bottom for “wide angle” postings.

Oh, it reminds me of shooting on my TLR. I don't mind at all, just a weird acknowledgement of a prior time.
