My student just informed me, she just passed away.
She told me yesterday, that her aunt had developed a 104 degree fever, very low oxygen (45), severe swelling of limbs/edema, jaundice, was in obvious pain. Don't know how old she was or if she had any predisposing conditions. This all came on VERY quickly.
Just a grim reminder that we're far from being done with this virus, and kinda puts things in context. I really don't think we should be in any rush to reopen anything.
