That kid looks like he may have other issues going on.
That said, I think it's ok for a 5-year-old. If the kid were 10 or 12, no way.

I *really* wish he'd been strapped in with a seatbelt but at age 5 there's no harm done with a ride in a real Lambo.

I'm on the bandwagon with this.
Even at 5yo, this is a life lesson that should never have been taught.
Not that a 5yo could ever conceive that a specific action would get a desired response.
No, kids just aren't that smart.
The above two statements were sarcasm, in case it wasn't obvious.
Yes, Lambo Man was just doing a 'nice thing' but message sent.
I hope Mom will decrypt it, but as she's along for the ride, I have my doubts.
It looks like the kid is sitting on mom's lap and my guess is the belts aren't long enough for the two of them.
And yes, there are other issues as well.

This kid is clearly smart, and likely to get into more trouble if his impulses are not channeled into a more productive direction.
It's hard to offer a solution without knowing the particular kid. Nevertheless, the first thing that comes to mind is engaging him in some kind of mechanical or maintenance work in order to earn a ride in the Lamborghini.
