What Happened? PS3 were available today, at my Circuit City
#1
What happen? I thought that there would be no more PS3's, but was at my local C.City today, and they were being sold at the pickup desk. I live in SOuthern California. I suppose it would be the same in other towns, if not all towns. And to think some people waited in lines over two nights.....

Now if I could only find a Wii..... then I could go bowling at home...

PS3 sucks. I was at a large gaming event in the Bay Area over the weekend. The Wii, PS3 and X360 were showcased. The PS3 made it out of the box, and then promptly back in when it was discovered that there were no new games with it and none of the old games would play. The XBOX 360 made it out for a bit, but still has many of the same issues as the original XBOX, and wasn't that big of a smash hit.

The Wii, on the other hand, did well. Although I think the name is horrible and have made fun of it, it was very much fun to play. Bowling, tennis, Excite Truck (?), boxing... the Wii had a crowd around it the entire event.

Edit: The only thing one can do with a PS3 out of the box is play a copy of Talladega Nights on Blue Ray.

I can find white ones just fine. The Onyx ones were sold out everywhere online 2 weeks ago when i was looking for one for my son for Xmas. I found a single one (woohoooo!!!) at a local Target store (thanks to their website) when all online retailers were sold out.

Electronics Boutique here (SC) had a bushel of them today for $249.

Operative word: had

Does anyone know if retailers are expecting another shipment of the Wii for sale on this Sunday? I know this was the case for the last couple of weeks, and people camped out, again, to get theirs.

GameStop also had shelves full of Wiis.

They don't appear to be selling well in this area.

Then help re-distribute them on ebay. I would pay you to ship it to me, but it's probably not worth the hassle for either party.
