Oh Cook!
#1
Hello, Viewers. I'm James May and I can't cook.

Welcome to my cookery show.

Is anybody watching James May Oh Cook!?

This is an actual cooking show with a brilliant presenter, James May, of Top Gear, The Grand Tour and Cars of the People.

Learning, culture, history, cooking, and entertainment.

It's on AMZ Prime, free with a membership.

What more could one possibly ask for.

Watched, and already have his cookbook. He's awesome, and watch his other shows if you have not, especially his Toy Stories and Man Lab. Smile

I've have both Toy Stories and Man Lab.

They're terrific.

Somebody here once said he was the best of the three from Top Gear and The Grand Tour, and they were right.

I may give his book a look.

James is excellent in all of his shows, and supposedly a new series of Man Labs are coming!

I have seen every episode of Top Gear / The Grand Tour and all of the trio's individual works. James is the most diverse, Clarskson is good when he wants to be. If you've not seen Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with him hosting the last few series, he's great at that. And I like Richard Hammond on his own but he's not as engaging as James by far.

But I can say, Clarkson's dramatic stuff, his "War Stories" shows are phenomenal.

They are:

The Victoria Cross: For Valour

The Greatest Raid of All

PQ17: An Arctic Convoy Disaster

All top notch, The Victoria Cross: For Valor is probably one of the best military documentaries I've ever seen, and a lot of it was Clarkson. Maybe even the best.... In the world. Wink

Thank you for the recommendations.

I've watch a couple of Hammond's solo efforts and he was— not very engaging.

I've not been particularly keen on Clarkson, feeling he tends to be overly bombastic (as if bombastic was ok) but I'll definitely look for The Victoria Cross: For Valor.

Once you watch that one, you'll want to see the 2nd one. The 3rd was a bit more dry but still a story that needed telling.

He was also on the show Who Do You Think You Are (the UK version, of course) in one of the first seasons / episodes. It was also worth seeing.

He's bombastic for sure. He also is a superb writer.
