iPod, Full size $25 :-)

never had one but could not pass up on this deal. It seems to be a 15GB Gen3 model. Came with just a FW cable but seems to work fine. Battery shows full, let's see how long it lasts :-)

Play with the Diagnostic mode Big Grin. BGnR linked a video for 4G and later iPods.
I added a link for 3G and earlier models diagnostic mode.

Smokin deal. new batteries are probably under $30 or so, and will have about 1/3 to 1/2 again the capacity.

Actually, got it used from someone I knew. I never had an iPod but he has had three or four and had not used this one is a while. The battery seems good, the ear pods he gave me sound crappy. They are white, but not sure if they are the original. I tried a pair of Sennhieser 580's and they sound better but not great, limited volume with those cans also. Looking at it it seems that this one has been opened as I see marks on the edges on teh white plastic. Oh, and the hold button does not work, it comes on if you hit any controls no matter what

if it has been opened, it is very possible that the battery has been replaced. Most of the 3rd gen batteries are close to expired. The 3rd gens were discontinued in July of '04 I believe. i got one the week before the 4th gens were released.
