Suspect was taken into custody without police firing a shot. The suspect however, dazzled officers with his somersault skills.
A dramatic video shows Sumter County sheriff’s deputies taking down a shooting suspect on Interstate 75.
Miguel Espinoza Navarro, 41, of Forest Park, Ga., was booked Saturday night at the Sumter County Detention Center on multiple charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

The extended video shows multiple badge cams which includes one officer recognizing the suspect was unarmed and instructs the others to deploy a Taser.

Well done, a lot of coordinating talk to avoid injury to cops and crook.
But- the guy should have never been allowed to put hands on the cop or his AR.
That should be discussed at length at a training session.
A Bat-Bolo would have worked well in that situation.
They had Tasers.
Even a 12ga less-lethal, in a pinch.
