I have been on vacation since Dec. 20th. It was great to spend some quality time with the family after working 60-70 hours a week for the last year.
Unless corporate greed subsides; I am afraid this year will bring more of the same.

Corporate greed goes only as far as the worker allows.
They can't take what doesn't exist and what isn't offered.
I was on vacation since Dec. 20, but I had to go back today...

A friend is off between Thanksgiving and New years. In the boating indistry, that is really the only slow time that they can take vacation. Startiung January the boat shows start, then the rigging of the new boats sold at the shows, then the 10 hour checks on them, then the new electronics and geegaws for the SO......then finally winterization, then Thanksgiving.

Ha! - He must tell everyone that drops off equipment for "winter tune-ups" not to bother calling about them until February. Installing equipment in February when the high for the day is 9 degreesF is so much fun ! :-)

You should see their shop heaters! They have a 5 bay shop with 30' ceilings and maybe 40' deep. They can take a 30' with a flybridge on a trailer in them
