Help! Can't Transfer Mac Fonts to PC!

Converting the text to outline would probably be your best bet, I have to do this with our logo all the time. I use FH MX, to convert to paths you just select the text with the pointer and under the text menu at the top of the window, select "convert to paths", I'm not sure if this is the same in the earlier versions of FH.

Select the text first. Then look for a menu option like this...

Outlines it is! . . . er, they are! :S

Problem is, I got Freehand 7 right about the time I found myself doing bookkeeping instead of design (td) , so I never learned much beyond what I could do with MacDraw Pro.

Easy to do, and it works! Way better than converting fonts.

Next time I find a Mac-using sign maker, though.

FWIW, you wont find mac making sign makers...

just do the whole in in FH and outline fonts -- being careful to save with one with fonts NOT outlined =)
