The house that Georgian Asa Candler created (Coke) finally complained, which earned them a mocking legislator who made sure reporters saw him open a can of Pepsi (gasp!) after session. Pepsi is that trash preferred by northern aggressors or so I’m told.
The state’s largest employer, on the other hand, immediately saw the state House rescind its tax cuts for jet fuel. The Senate said that bit of childish behavior went too far and so Delta isn’t harmed.
But the culture war and hypocrisy continues.
