"Moderna vaccine creates twice as many antibodies as Pfizer: research"
#11
I'll be interested to see if the FDA says it's OK to mix brands with the mRNA vaccines boosters. CDC has said it's OK.

If they do and this research holds up, I'd want to get a Moderna booster.

So what?

I doubt I have any measurable antibodies to polio at this point.

And, remember how they just gave all us kids the polio vaccine, no questions asked.
Wasn’t that one that used the sugar cube delivery method?
You were a bit late to the scene, we were either vaxxed or later drank the original.

The second vaccine of Moderna is given four weeks after the first shot, while the Pfizer vaccine is administered three weeks following the initial shot.

We've been doing it wrong.

They're coming up with new recommendations from the UK.

Apparently, the sweet-spot for maximizing your immune response to Pfizer's vaccine is about 6 weeks. Get the second shot before or after and you've missed the window for the strongest immune response.

I did get Moderna #2 six weeks after the first. Perhaps I made an inadvertent good decision…
