Sample size of one Chi'King was so terrible that I will not be trying second one. It cost $6.29 compared to Popeye's far superior $4 Chicken sandwich. The chicken was dry, the meat was scant, breading wasn't crisp, bun was soggy. Only thing that was not terrible was the pickle. Avoid at all cost.

They are only like $4.29 here.
I don’t eat meat/chicken so I have no opinion on the quality.
The service quality at our local popeye’s is so horrible, all of them, that I refuse to go back there. They used to have a fish sandwich I liked but not enough to put myself through that. Lol

Haven't gone to Chik-fil-a in well over a decade. First b'c they completely fucked up their chicken salad sandwich (which I loved) and then stopped altogether when we found out about their politics. I never thought their chicken was all that, to be honest, but their chicken salad sandwich way back when (before they fucked it all up by trying to go "artisan" with it, adding grapes and walnuts and bullshit, and putting it in a big plastic box).
The Popeye's sandwich really is that good. Of course, it varies from time to time (not that I get it all that regularly) but of all the fast-food/chain chicken sandwiches I've had over the years it is far and away the best.
I used to like the Classic Chicken Sandwich from BK, but when they did the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. A couple of times I've bought the 2 for $6 pack of those, gotten them plain, and made my own at home. Silly, but it worked out and satisfied my craving.

....you can make your own 'Popeye's chicken sandwich'......Aldi (and I'm sure other supermarkets) sell precooked chicken cutlets......you just have to heatup in oven (until crispy again) and then put on bread with pickles and your own 'mayo' ( you can customize to whatever you like - they now sell pre-made bottles of: sriracha mayo, chipotle mayo, and other flavors).......
